LOA Success – Create an Abundant Life

The word ‘abundance’ is defined as a large amount of something. When you look at your life, with the intention of wanting to make positive changes, you typically look at what’s lacking – what we need to do to create more of the good things we enjoy.

Have you ever thought about what you’d like to have an abundance of in life? You might think short-term, such as, “I sure wish I had an extra piece of that delicious cake,” but the life altering changes are the long-term ones, and too much cake won’t deliver any positive results.

With some things, there are concrete methods for you to have an abundance of what you want. For example, if you wanted an abundance of apples, you could pay for them – or worse, steal them – although that wouldn’t be good because you’d end up in jail, apple-less.

LOA Success – How can I apply the Law of Attraction

Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, whose distinguished 52-year career pastoring Marble Collegiate Church of Manhattan, was even better known as the author of “The Power of Positive Thinking”.

His positive thinking is very much in line with The Law of Attraction, by applying repetition of positive affirmations, eliminating negative thinking and applying this to every aspect of life.

Dr. Peale saw no conflict with God in this approach because he felt that we could tap into God’s power to use for our needs.

Regardless of your religious affiliation, or none, you can apply the Law of Attraction in your life as long as you merge these concepts.

LOA Success – How can I apply the Law of Attraction?

Beliefs certainly have a spiritual link. Early Hindu writings are said by many to be an early inspiration for the Law of Attraction. Some groups within Christianity denounce the Law of Attraction as being in opposition to their beliefs.

Yet an early writer on the Law of Attraction, James Allen, titled his 1902 book, “As a Man Thinketh”. This title is a portion of a Bible verse which states, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

The Old English use of “thinketh” is today just “thinks” – yet the sentiment still makes sense. It’s about who you are at the heart level – who you are inside. Where some Christians part company with the Law of Attraction is in the belief that they can have what they want by using positive energy, thinking it’s pushing prayer by the wayside.

LOA Success – How can I apply the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is limited only by your imagination. You’ll find books on how to apply the Law of Attraction to career, education, dating, smoking cessation or other specifics.

Never think for a minute that what you see in writing are the only options. If you can dream it, you do it with the Law of Attraction as your guiding principle. Without a doubt, the Law of Attraction is personal.

You can claim this approach to bring whatever you want or need into your life. You can’t order it like fries at a drive-through, without a thought, and expect it to just happen for you.

The Law of Attraction requires an investment of your beliefs. There’s just no other way to make it work. When you talk about beliefs, many people tie that to their upbringing as a Jew, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu or other religion.

Create the Life of Your Dreams – 4minutemanifesting
 – Always Expect the Best from Yourself

Henry David Thoreau once said:

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost.
There is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.”

Clearly, Thoreau is saying to dream beyond what qualifies as a reasonable goal, and then get to work bringing your dream to life. And the only way to do this is to have the utmost faith in yourself and to comfortably expect greatness as the result of your best efforts.

When you think about what you want from life, envision a grand set of circumstances truly worthy of you. Don’t fall into the trap of playing it safe with your dreams, and don’t give in to the fear of failure that kills most peoples’ dreams before they are even hatched.

Adopting this frame of mind will empower you to create fabulous visions – and to manifest these visions with confidence. This particular life is the only one you have, so don’t short change yourself.

Expect the very best you have to offer at all times, and anticipate the best from life at every turn.

LOA Success – 4minutemanifesting
 – Always Expect the Best from Yourself

Your best is a dynamic concept. As you learn and grow, your maximum capabilities are likely to expand and improve. Therefore, you are well within your rights to expect more and more from yourself as your potential for excellence continues to increase.

Avoid frustrating yourself by demanding the impossible, but always strive to achieve slightly beyond your comfort zone. When setting goals in the various areas of your life, select targets that challenge you to push beyond your “normal” abilities, while avoiding the temptation to create unrealistic fantasies.

To put this suggestion into the right frame of reference, consider what the great thinker Henry David Thoreau once said:

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost. There is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.”

Clearly, Thoreau is saying to dream beyond what qualifies as a reasonable goal, and then get to work bringing your dream to life.

 – Always Expect the Best from Yourself

You are capable of extraordinary accomplishments, and you should always hold yourself to the highest of expectations. By refusing to settle for anything less than your personal best, you will become a top achiever in your industry and in life.

The world is full of people who are willing to live mediocre lives.
Everywhere you go, you’ll encounter those who accept the mundane as
standard fare.

But this doesn’t mean you have to lower your standards!

Your unique talents allow you to create exactly the kind of life you have always dreamed of having. Master the arts of self-discipline and intentional manifestation – and expect ever-greater levels of personal success.

An easy way to bring power and joy into your life in great quantities is to practice honoring yourself on a regular basis. Treat yourself to the good things life has to offer, and do so in the same way you would treat a close friend or loved one.

Buy yourself flowers or write yourself a loving letter of congratulation for a job well done. Have dinner alone at your favorite restaurant and immerse yourself in the pleasure of the moment.

By taking special care of yourself, you are telling the universe that you are a magnificent person who deserves all the best things life has to offer. And, by virtue of the law of attraction, the universe will respond by giving you everything you desire.

Many people consider it a bad thing to show a deep love and appreciation for who they are. From childhood, we are warned about the dangers of becoming selfish and conceited.

But there is a huge difference between being conceited – and having a healthy respect for the person in the mirror. And the truth is, people who act out of arrogance are suffering from a serious lack of self-esteem.

Take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror, and pretend you are looking at another person. Relax and look deeply into your own eyes; try to find the soul of the fabulous human being you are looking at.

If you have never said, “I love you” to yourself, do it now and mean it. If you are relaxed and in a state of awareness, you’ll notice a wonderful feeling flowing through your being when you do this.

On a subconscious level, you crave love from yourself in much the same way a child yearns for the affection of a parent. This is entirely natural and healthy, and far too many people in our society deprive themselves of this type of love.

When was the Last Time You Honored Yourself?

Everyone likes special treatment from time to time, and most people also enjoy doing nice things for others. But how often do you honor yourself with a loving gesture or special gift?

For some reason, the value of real self-esteem is seriously downplayed in our culture. Oh sure, most high school health classes give a nod in the direction of feeling good about yourself and having basic confidence.

But where are the lesson plans for developing an exciting, empowering love affair with yourself? If the above sentence makes you feel awkward, please pay close attention to the rest of this article!

Great success – and a life of imminent joy – all starts with love of self. Clearly, it is not possible to fully love others without first loving yourself; and, if you don’t fully love the person you are, how will you be motivated to create the best possible life for yourself?
