In our 'always on the go', 'never enough time' society, the desire (or maybe even the need) for simplicity, is becoming a driving force in consumer tastes. A good example of this is the Google search engine. With it's clean, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand user interface, Google has been able to beat the very largest players in the search engine business (Microsoft and Yahoo). And that is why this week, both Microsoft and Yahoo revealed major site redesigns - which are almost identical to the look of google. They have learned that when given a choice, web visitors overwhelmingly prefer to use the simple solution. If you provide services or products on your web site, never forget that simplicity of use is a highly desired feature that can greatly add to the perceived value of almost any product or service.
