Although she feels that she has lived a fairly full and busy life, it has taken Gwen up until this last couple of years to really get her head around the loss of her husband. They did have 13 happy years together. Gwen came across 'Living Magically' a couple of years ago.

Across the years without him, she has occasionally written poems - and she has kindly sent this one for us to share.

I need to talk to you - sound you out
smile into your eyes
feel your touch
share your warmth

Can you see me?
You are in my head
do you know my thoughts
or is it memory
familiarity, desperation -
fear of letting go.

Are you near me
or just inside me?
We are inextricably linked.
In going, you are
branded into - onto - my soul.
My fear is of losing you.
