My news in brief

It's been a wonderful year for me so far - truly transformative stuff! Since completing my Diploma in Flower and Vibrational Essences, I've offered
hundreds of essence consultations this year - mostly by post/email, but also in person - with wonderful feedback. I've also attended some great workshops (and had personal contact) with some of the world's best-known essence developers. And I've had the joy of making more Lakeland Essences - on the rare occasions when weather has permitted! - which are currently being tested by the Lakeland Flower Essences Research Group. (Thanks to all of you in the Research Group.) My love and delight in flower essences continues to grow!

I've also been training intensively in energy psychology and energy medicine.
I am now a AMT-certified practitioner in Meridian Energy Therapies, and have trained in EFT, TAT and other new forms of energy healing. I'm also studying new ways of working with the Family Soul at an energy level to clear transgenerational issues and/or heal larger systems. I've also been doing lots of rescue work, and releasing of attached entities - which seems to be a major issue for clearing before we can shift into the
4th dimension. All of this will eventually come together (somehow!) in my new book, which is still in the early planning stages.

I remember channelled sources saying in the early 1990s that new kinds of energy healing would be released worldwide towards the end of the century - and here they are! I believe that energy-healing has the potential to heal all of our Stuff and blockages, and release our natural state of joy and grace - so that we can make the collective leap into 4D consciousness around 2012. These emerging new approaches offer incredibly powerful approaches to soul healing and transformation - and challenge most of our 'common sense' ideas about how our reality works.

I am planning to offer workshops on flower essences and energy healing in the near future. Watch this space! These workshops will be advertised first via the Email Newsgroup, so you will have the opportunity to book places before
they are advertised on the website or elsewhere. (And no, you can't reserve places on workshops before I've even organised them, as many of you have asked!!)
Please note that workshops will now be limited to about 45 people, so they are likely to book up fast. To limit costs, I'm not currently planning to send out another brochure by post, so it is essential to be in the Newsgroup if you want to hear about workshops. Personal consultations

As you have probably noticed, a lot of people are in crisis at the moment!
(Our unresolved issues are now insisting on being dealt with.) So as some of you know, I've been offering a limited number of personal consultations in Ambleside this year - mostly to local people. I've enjoyed this so much that I'm opening personal consultations to others (via the LM Newsgroup) from 22 September.

Appointments are available during school hours only (10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday), and cost £70 for a typical two-hour session (£40/hour; £55 for 90 mins). Every session is different. I combine insight and energy work with flower essences, and use whatever tools are appropriate. You will usually be given a dose bottle of essences - included in the price - to take home with you, plus energy tools where appropriate.

Energy psychology is particularly suitable for anyone who has unresolved traumas from the past which are still affecting them in any way, or who are suffering from specific anxiety or phobias, or who have issues which still seem stuck despite lots of inner work, such as attracting a soulmate, prosperity or success, or releasing guilt, workaholism, depression, perfectionism, addictions or allergies. (Note: This work is gentle and does not involve re-experiencing
the original traumas.) Consultations are also suitable for those who are basically in good shape, but want to release any karmic or other blockages to fulfilling their full potential or higher purpose, and/or to build affirmations and
positive visions into their energy system.

I am also available for face-to-face flower essence consultations - which are suitable for almost any issue: mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.
These can be followed up with email consultations if required.

Other work I offer includes shifting family and transgenerational patterns; releasing attached entities and doing rescue work with lost souls; and simply helping you to 'dance with your soul' by exploring the bigger picture of your life, and helping you tap into higher guidance. (See below for common symptoms of 'attached entities'.)

If you are coming for a one-off consultation, bear in mind that you need to have a clear focus. We cannot aim to sort out your whole life in 2 hours (though we can hopefully get things moving)! Two or more sessions can sometimes be arranged in the same week if necessary - or follow-ups can be arranged by post/email.

For those who don't know, I'm a clinical psychologist by professional background - trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and family/systemic approaches - and worked full-time in the NHS for 10 years before I resigned to write 'Living Magically' in 1990.

Rescue Work With Lost Souls

Due to increased demand for this booklet, first released in 1998, I decided to revise and re-print it. I have slightly revised the original version, and added four new pages on releasing attached spirits, coping with psychic attack
and using flower essences in rescue work. This new section includes the common symptoms of 'attached entities' as well as what makes you vulnerable to 'attachment' (eg taking drugs, being stressed or exhausted, having an operation or being in hospital, being a helping professional).

In brief, the most common symptoms of attached entities are: unexplained fatigue, nightmares (often of intruders or ghosts), unexplained and sudden anxiety or depression, hearing voices or having 'third-person' conversations about yourself inside your head, suicidal impulses, mood swings or personality changes, indecision, confusion, poor concentration, memory problems or gaps, impulsive behaviour, and unexplained physical symptoms or illness. None of these is a sure sign of attachment, but if you have several of them, it might indicate that you have made room for an 'uninvited guest'! (I am beginning to suspect that this is far more widespread than most of us have ever imagined. More info to follow in future workshops!)

The booklet is now printed on a colour laser, so it looks much more professional - and won't smudge if you drop water on it. It gives detailed information about how to do rescue work with lost souls - including case studies from my own experience - whether it is a haunted house, a family/ancestral spirit or just a 'passing visitor' who is hanging around. The Rescue Work booklet costs £4.75 including postage.

Workshops with Gill

The next Newsletter - coming soon! - will carry details of my forthcoming workshops etc. Just to give you a taster, I am planning to offer weekend
workshops on Flower Magic, Energy Magic and Soul Magic. ('Magic' is about transforming consciousness.)

After a lot of thought, preparatory planning and discussions about offering a BFVEA-approved Diploma in Flower and Vibrational Essences (largely by correspondence), I realised that it would involve as much preparation time as writing a new book - which I would prefer to do. So, with apologies to those who were looking forward to the Diploma course, my provisional plans are now to offer one or two weekend workshops on flower essences, plus a workshop on Flower Essences for Therapists and Healers, with the opportunity to complete a Certificate in Flower Essence Healing afterwards (by postal exam). Together, this would provide all you need to know to begin to integrate the magic of flower essences into your private life and/or professional practice. (I might be discussing with the BFVEA whether/how you might upgrade this to a BFVEA Diploma without my having to write a Diploma course from scratch which meets all their requirements.) 1. The Living Magically online workshop, with Susan Hill and Rob Mason, is attracting increasing numbers of 'attenders', who are able to work through the course in their own time and in the comfort of their own homes. The discussion forum is especially successful; this is an important, although non-essential, part of the workshop that enables people to keep in touch, to ask questions and to offer suggestions, as though they were in the circle during an actual live workshop. 3. Annan Farm Healing Centre is available to hire for meetings and small workshops. Situated in East Sussex near Lewes / Uckfield, it has lovely grounds, trees and orchard along with a lovely workshop space - the venue has been described as having a 'homely and healing feeling'. We are offering individuals and families to come for a short healing break to stay in a yurt and have the opportunity for individual therapies, such as massage, reflexology, reiki, counselling, relaxation through creative visualisation, shamanic healing and colour light therapy. Or just come to relax, review and rest in a beautiful space.
We are also offering a programme of workshops starting in September for personal development and we have a visiting Peruvian Shaman who is offering a workshop on healing, both personal and planetary.

We are also planning to open our space for women's circles, particularly for women who desire healing relating to loss and grief about babies, children, relationships and the womb energy. We want to invite women to come together to celebrate themselves and in particular build community for women to share and be supported in their creativity and beauty.

4. Susan Hill is taking bookings for her third one year course, 'Stepping into the Magic', in Tunbridge Wells. This is based on the last one-year course facilitated by Gill, includes some new material from 'Pure Bliss', and takes place over four weekends. The course is aimed at people who are committed to their personal spiritual growth and who wish to grow through love and joy rather than struggle. It is a very practical course which offers a magical blend of
metaphysics, shamanism and modern psychology. This provides material for participants' use in their life and to share with their own groups. It also provides a starting point for wonderful friendships and support. Here is one of the unsolicited comments from a participant: After one weekend my life is transformed, I no longer let other people run the show and some of them have left my life already. I really know that I create my reality. A certificate of attendance is given at the end of the course.
